Data Collection Statement

Content Miner is operated by Corriston Consulting, LLC, Tampa, Florida 33616. Questions about data collection can be sent to sales@corristonconsulting.com.

This statement describes the practical data collected when someone uses the public checker, requests a gated site scan, opens a portal preview, downloads software, or contacts support.

Page checker

The public checker processes a submitted URL and returns a limited preview. The full report workflow is gated so saved scans, history, and exports are tied to a portal session.

A page check may collect the submitted URL, resolved domain, page title, headings, meta description, canonical signal, indexability signals, schema signals, link hints, response status, timing information, and generated score output.

Site scan

A site scan may read public pages, robots.txt, sitemaps, page titles, headings, metadata, schema signals, and nearby URLs. It does not change your site.

A gated site scan may also store the requesting email address, domain, scan status, duplicate-content groups, competing page candidates, report summaries, portal access events, and plan-related state so the result can be reopened instead of disappearing after one browser session.

Portal and account records

Portal records may include saved scans, report history, selected plan, license or download status, support notes, and activity needed to manage access. Content Miner uses this information to show prior results, enforce limits, support paid access, and troubleshoot problems.

Analytics and logs

Operational logs and analytics may collect page views, form starts, checker starts, scan starts, result views, errors, browser information, approximate location from IP-derived data, referrers, and performance timing. These records help measure whether the site and portal are working.

Retention and review

Scan records may be retained to show history, compare later scans, and support account access. Reports are designed to expose the evidence used for a finding rather than hide it behind a black box.

We may delete, aggregate, or de-identify records when they are no longer useful for service operation, support, security, billing, or legitimate product improvement. Requests can be sent to sales@corristonconsulting.com.
